Who/what is an accredited investor?
An accredited investor, includes anyone who:
Has earned income that exceeded $200,000 (or $300,000 together with a spouse or spousal equivalent) in each of the prior two years, and reasonably expects the same for the current year, OR
Has a net worth over $1 million, either alone or together with a spouse or spousal equivalent (excluding the value of the person’s primary residence)

Why do I need to be an accredited investor to invest in Tantra?
The short answer is for investor protection. The main reason offerings like Tantra's are limited to accredited investors is to ensure that all participating investors are financially sophisticated. In many cases, investors are largely left to do their due diligence on their own, so the accredited investor status makes sure investors have at least a minimal level of financial sophistication to be able to make wise investment decisions.
What documents do Tantra Labs accept to prove accreditation status?
There are a few options when it comes to showing proof you are an accredited investor. You can provide documents showing your income, such as the past two years of tax returns or W2 Income Statements.
You can show us your wealth status by providing brokerage statements, 401k statements, bank statements, or crypto account statements.
